Misr Development Co.

Misr development Co. is a private Import & Export company established in 1976 linked to the mining field through the sister company;
2004 we have started a new factory located in Suez industrial zone specialized in processing minerals like Quartz, Dolomite, White Silica Sand, calcium Carbonate, Talc & Feldspar.
On 2009 we have built our own fleet to add inland transport activity.

Quartz

Due to its unique physical and chemical properties, Quartz is considered to be one of the most widely used natural materials . It has a hardness of seven on the Mohs Scale which makes it very durable.
Its electrical properties and heat resistance make it valuable in electronic products.
Ferro silicon (Steel Industry) Glass Industry, Rubber, Paint, Hydraulic fracturing(Petroleum Industry),Sand blasting, liquid filtration, Optical & Electronic Industry.

Dolomite

Dolomite as a mineral has very few uses the most common is in the construction industry. It is crushed and sized for use as a road base material, an aggregate in concrete and asphalt, railroad ballast, glass industry also used as refractory, ramming, and fettling material in steel melting shop, and as fluxing material in blast furnace.



Talc

A widely know material, it can be crushed into a white powder that is widely known as "talcum powder". This powder has the ability to absorb moisture, absorb oils, absorb odor, serve as a lubricant and produce an astringent effect with human skin, A form of talc known as "soapstone" is also widely known.
Used in manufacturing of plastics, Ceramics, Paint, Paper, Cosmetics & Rubber.

Potash Feldspar

Comprises a group of minerals containing potassium, sodium, calcium and aluminium silicates. They are the most common rock-forming minerals.

Used in Glass, Pocelain, Fillers, Paint, Mild Abrasives, Welding Electrodes (Production of Steel), Latex Foam, The Welding of Rod Coating.


Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is largely used in the paper, plastics, paints and coatings industries both as a filler – and due to its special white color - as a coating pigment, it also has a broad application as a base material for medicinal tablets.





Silica Sand

Silicon and oxygen are the earth's two most abundant elements and together they make silica.
A vital component in construction, glass, ceramis, sand paper and high-tech industries also broadly used for foundary casting and filtration.
